Consultation
Before the initial consultation we ask our customers to analyze their needs and explore their desires for the final product. What style are you looking for? What type of wood and color range are you interested in? Will you need a little or a lot of storage? What is your budget?
We will work hard to make the most out of your kitchen no matter what style, budget, or size you desire. An interesting fact is that kitchen and bathroom remodels have the highest R.O.I (Return on Investment) in home improvements. You will not only have a more beautiful and practical kitchen, you will also increase the value of your home substantially.
One way to make the process faster is to log onto our website and browse through our pictures in order to find a style that appeals to you. We will also bring pictures of kitchens to our first consultation. In addition to that, we provide our customers with wood samples at this time to determine the look you are trying to achieve. If you don’t see anything you like, we will make it for you. We will also provide flooring, granite, tile, and paint samples as well. We want to be sure you can see the whole picture.
Measuring
We take all the initial measurements at the time of the first consultation. These are, however, just rough measurements that we use to design a three-dimensional concept sketch with and provide our customers with an initial quote. When we finalize the order we will take the exact and final measurements for the project to ensure preciseness and a perfect fit.
Concept Sketch
We use our previous experience and state of the art computer program to design a virtual kitchen. The rendering mode of this program allows us to construct 3D images and elevation sketches of what your new kitchen will look like from every possible angle. These pictures are easily and conveniently e-mailed and will allow you to get a preview of your initial concept. At this time we will also provide you with your initial quote for the project.
Revision
After reviewing the first draft of sketches and pictures, we recommend our customers to schedule a second consultation. At this time we will go over all the possible changes that you might have. Some customers make no changes at all and others want many changes. Nothing is “set in stone” at this time and you will be able to change any aspect of your future kitchen. The revision phase is complete when we have an agreement on all possible details from measurements to style and set-up. The only detail that does not need to be determined at this time is the finish. After getting your revisions we will provide you with an updated sketch and quote.
Finalizing order
When the revision phase is complete we are ready to finalize the order. At this point, your kitchen will be completed within eight to twelve weeks. We require a deposit of 50 percent to commence the order, 25 percent at week four and the balance is payable upon completion.
Production
All our custom cabinets are built locally in L.A. We have a team of experienced carpenters that we have worked with for over four years. One major advantage with having our cabinets made locally, in our shop, is that we will make regular check-ups to make sure that your kitchen is progressing on time and that all measurements are accurate. Moreover, we can also accommodate customers who want to check on the progress themselves.
Installation
We provide our customers with complementary pick-up and delivery. Our installation team will make sure your new kitchen fits perfectly. The approximate lead time for a kitchen replacement only is one week. If you need flooring, tile, granite, or anything else, these tasks will add more time to the job.
Final walk-through
Here we are. Your new dream kitchen is in place. This is the time for our final meeting and walk-through. At this time we address any question you might have to make sure that we fulfilled everything we promised. We will not leave any project with an unsatisfied customer. You are our most important concern and that is why we have a 100 percent success rate of satisfied customers. |
